you said ...
it was like watching
french films in black and white
you and I shivering
shadows in that empty parking lot
where we couldn't say good bye
the world spun slower then
the moon tucking behind the rush of clouds
that sprinkled a light mist on your face
hiding the beginning of your tears
your heart lied, heavy
your face buried , sobbing into my open coat
where you smelled my shirt
and in a flash you raised your chin
and faced the rain of memories
clutching with your desperate hands
pulling my face to yours
you questioned my eyes ,
did I remember ?
yours , darting quickly
chasing the flickers
upon a technicolor dreamscape
naked under the rush of the night
where fingers traced sacred curves
and passion bathed in our glow
golden within a circle of scented candles
you cradled my face and breathed magic upon my lips
sharing midnight poetry of two souls
melting into one desire
you and I
yes , I remembered
