I watch the wind
awaken each petal of spring
as a honeybee buries her self into the sweetness
of a thousand gardens
listening to the rhythm
pouring through the filigree
of the river of my heart
I kneel
before the wonder
of a flower and my touch
this feeling
roots deep within the soul
below a landscape
measured by each breath
and the promise of a kiss
it lingers
this happiness
as I gaze
from and into
the reflection
upon the rising waters
ripples
in the poetry of the sun
and the grace of love
a bird sings
from a weathered tree
sun streaks and stone
quiet in my heart
I move
I am home
