Snow globes

passion and flux are a strange brew ...

of firecrackers and daydreams

of compass points and fickle winds

an excerpt from the adventurer's heart

to reminisce in a snow globe

and how the magik is in the stirring

and the peace felt in the settling

each snowflake a whisper

how those snowflakes can warm the heart

of seedlings and simple things

the wandering and unexpected

hiking out to lonely places.

to build a campfire

and sit by the ocean

and just be

secret gardens of the heart and soul

a bonsai and stone

questions are an answer

and the answer is

they survive

but do they live

true, surviving is not the same with living :)
and also true - that mixture boiling in every adventurer's heart :)
i always loved snow globes - and now you gave me a new reason to think about them :)

Soothing and contemplative as the world rests for the snow to settle

to find snowflakes that warm and questions that are answers... you have the gift of seeing complex truths, and of turning ideas inside out with your words.
don't you just love it when a snow globe turns out to be a universe? :]
